20 year old reserve ‘keeper Ben Alnwick has signed a three month loan deal with Luton and looks set to go straight into their squad to face Huddersfield on Saturday.

Alnwick is a highly rated young goalkeeper and was briefly number one at Sunderland following the departure of Kelvin Davis before being signed by Spurs in the January transfer window with Marton Fulop going the other way.

Alnwick is yet to make his competitive debut for Spurs, with both Paul Robinson and Radek Cerny ahead of him in the pecking order, but he is a regular for the England Under-21’s and will be hoping to get more first team experience under his belt with the league one club.
