Czech Striker Tomas Pekhart

Tomas Pekhart has signed a new contract with the club which will secure the future of the Czech Republic Under-21’s striker. High rated 18 year old Pekhart joined Spurs last summer from Slavia Prague and made quite an impression for the Under-18’s scoring 20 times in 19 appearances, he also featured a dozen times for the reserves.

Pekhart has been receiving rave reviews from those who followed him last season and has been compared to a young Teddy Sheringham due to his goal scoring record despite a lack of pace. This season has also started promisingly with him scoring once for the reserves along with a hat-trick in his only Under-18’s appearance.
