Carling Cup

Following the superb display from Tottenham against their arch rivals Arsenal in the second leg of the Carling Cup on January 22nd, the resounding 5-1 victory ensured a 6-2 aggregate win, which which has taken the club onto Wembley for the first time in 9 years and the clubs first domestic cup final for 6 years.

As with much of the history of Tottenham Hotspur, the club now have the opportunity to be the first League Cup Winners at the new Wembley Stadium. The Final will be staged on Sunday February 24th, and Vectis Spurs would obviously like as many of it’s members to be there as is possible. Unfortunately we cannot give anyone guarantees of a ticket. We still await information from Tottenham as to the clubs allocation, and then subsequently how the club are to distribute their allocation.

The general view at this stage is that Tottenham could possibly receive in the region of 30,000 tickets, of which the club have 23,000 season ticket holders, we can only hope that as many of you that wish to go actually get the opportunity to do so. Vectis Spurs will give 100% effort in trying to obtain as many tickets as we can, but we do have make it clear to everyone that no guarantees can be provided. We will be in contact with the membership once we have further and more concrete information.
