Vectis Spurs

Winger Wayne Routledge has joined Aston Villa for £1.25million in a deal which will see an end to his difficult Spurs career.

Routledge joined the club from Crystal Palace and looked set to be the first choice man on the right wing until the emergence of Aaron Lennon forced Routledge out of the reckonings. Routledge only managed 5 appearances for the club in his two and a half year stay which saw him spend loan spells at Fulham and Portsmouth.
