Jermain Defoe (No Longer) A Yiddo

Jermain Defoe

Jermain Defoe’s Tottenham career has ended after 4 years which saw him score 43 goals in 139 games. He has joined Portsmouth for a fee of around ?7.5million.

Defoe joined us in January 2004 from West Ham and scored on his debut in the 4-3 win over Portsmouth which Vectis Spurs attended. He remained first choice until the 2006/2007 season when Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane began to forge their extremely successful partnership which saw Defoe reduced to a bit part player at the club.

Defoe has repeatedly spoke about his love for the club but he finally had to move on for the good of his career. No longer a Spurs player but always a Yid.
