Following the club’s poor form since the Carling Cup win in February the board have decided to remove the coaching team of Manager Juande Ramos, Assistant Manager Gustavo Poyet, Coach Marcos Alvarez, and Sporting Director Damien Comolli.

As of this morning Juande Ramos has taken over as head coach of Tottenham Hotspur FC. Ramos’ first game will be the Carling Cup tie at home to Blackpool. Ramos has won successive UEFA Cups at Sevilla alongside a European Supercup and the Spanish Supercup with victories over Real Madrid and Barcelona.

It became clear during Thursday evening’s match with Getafe that Martin Jol’s time as manager, after months of speculation, had come to an end. Rumours began at half time and before the match had ended it had been confirmed.
